Patrick Hogan

Patrick Hogan is a Senior Forensic Case Analyst at BioRec and has been providing experienced professional support since 2019. Mr. Hogan has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University, where he was a New American University Scholar and graduated with honors. During his time at Arizona State University, Mr. Hogan was involved in numerous research projects involving the research and development of upper and lower limb prosthetics. This research was presented at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society in Atlanta, Georgia and the design was subsequently patented. Through his research and academics, Mr. Hogan developed an in-depth understanding of physics and engineering principles.

In addition to his academic experience, Mr. Hogan has continued to expand his knowledge base by participating in and completing numerous courses geared toward accident reconstruction as well as being a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International), the Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators (SATAI), and the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS). Mr. Hogan has been trained in the areas of Advanced Photogrammetry for Collision Reconstruction, Motorcycle Collision Reconstruction, 2D/3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), 3D Simulations, and Forensic Video Analysis. Additionally, Mr. Hogan is a certified Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Technician and Analyst, as well as a certified AXON Investigate Metrologist. His knowledge and experience in these areas has been a beneficial resource to the team at BioRec.
