Patrick Hogan

Patrick Hogan is a Testifying Expert & Senior Forensic Case Analyst at BioRec and has been providing experienced professional support since 2019. Mr. Hogan has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University, where he was a New American University Scholar, graduated with honors, and was granted a patent for the design of a lower limb prosthetic socket. Since arriving at BioRec, Mr. Hogan has completed specific training in Traffic Crash Reconstruction through the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM). Mr. Hogan is an Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).

Mr. Hogan has continued to expand his knowledge base by participating in and completing numerous courses geared toward accident reconstruction as well as being a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International), the Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators (SATAI), and the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS). Mr. Hogan has been trained in the areas of Advanced Photogrammetry for Collision Reconstruction, Motorcycle Collision Reconstruction, 2D/3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), 3D Simulations, and Forensic Video Analysis. Additionally, Mr. Hogan is a certified Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Technician and Analyst, as well as a certified AXON Investigate Metrologist. His knowledge and experience in these areas have been a beneficial resource to the team at BioRec.
